Forest Edge Reception
** Please note that Forest Edge is predominantly a self-catering resort and although we serve Breakfast on our Lily Pond Deck (by prior arrangement), we do NOT have a restaurant and there is no shop on site. There are some great country restaurants nearby, as well as some country stores and a postal agency a few minutes from us. Knysna town, with a host of restaurants and all modern amenities, is about 30min drive away.
Forest Edge reception Staff is on hand to assist during normal office hours with wood, consumables, housekeeping requests, information assistance and general support. Despite the formal check-in and check-out times, we are available BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT AT OUR DISCRETION for check-outs before 08:30 or after 10:00; and check-ins after 20:00 at night, although this will incur a surcharge. We remain available 24/7 for emergencies – unless the emergency is loss of communication networks.
