Firefly cottage is a LUXURY level cottage.
Our Firefly Cottage, one of our beautiful luxury cottages, is situated on the North-Eastern end of the Forest Edge property. This specific cottage is adjacent to our Lily Pond Deck, where we serve breakfast in one of the most beautiful settings – surrounded by the amazing Knysna forest. It is also nearby our private area that houses our food forest, a flock of chickens and earthworms – something small for everyone to experience and enjoy.
The Firefly Cottage has a shallow pond slightly behind it. This offers our guests similar water ambience while overlooking the indigenous Sanparks forest to the North, with the Forest Edge Reception overlooking it from behind and a lovely private garden area to the North-East.
It has a private feel, although it can get a bit noisy during Breakfast & Dinner time as well as busy seasons where one can hear hikers passing by outside Forest Edge, on their way to the Drupkelders rock pools or the Outeniqua hiking trail.
