1 Superior House

Falcon House

Double story 2-bedroom house with veranda, boma area, lily pond and so much more. Modern furniture, 2 bathrooms, DSTV, Wi-Fi and Fireplace. Ideal for young families – not as private as the Cottages.

• Cottages are fully equipped for self-catering – everything you need to store / cook your food, plus eco-friendly basics like dish-washing liquid, loo paper, rubbish bags, air freshener, soap & shampoo.

Excluded from these rates, bring your own:

• Swimming towels – please bring your own.
• Food & Drink – please bring your own food and drink (coffee, tea, sugar, drinking water – we only have rain water), condiments of your choice. No shop/restaurant on site but there is a country store about 15 minutes from us. You can pre-order breakfast on the Lily Pond Deck or Dinner from the Managers. We offer a grid & tongs at each cottage. Firewood, charcoal and firelighters for sale.

R200 per day (except Sundays & Public Holidays) – arrange day before.

Breakages / Rules
We will unfortunately recover any damages incurred due to the actions of guests.

Minimum Stays & Single Supplement:

2 nights, except:
– 5 nights in Dec/Jan Peak: 13 Dec – 09 Jan
– 3 nights in School Holidays, & Long Weekends taken as a whole.

100% Single Supplement in School Holidays and Long Weekends.

Deposit payments:

50% due within 24 hours of formally booking.
Balance due 10 days prior to arrival (i.e. 100% on last-minute bookings).

If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit
If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit
If cancelling more than 60 days, before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit

COVID-19 Regulations: If a guest is unable to stay at Forest Edge due to lockdown travel restrictions imposed by the Government, the guest will be allowed to move their reservation once, within 12 months from original date of stay, without forfeiting any monies already paid by the guest. The new booking must be on the same basis as the original booking.
