Enjoy an emerald day in the magical Knysna Forest on a Forest hike, Mountain Biking Trail, swim or canoe in a nearby river or at the gorgeous, safe beaches, then return to your Knysna Accommodation home away from home.
Just to peak your sense of Adventure:
Drupkelders hike starts at our gate. Combine a demanding 3.5km indigenous forest hike with a visit to magnificent rock pools in the Homtini River in the Knysna Forest. These massive rock pools offer deep, cola-coloured waters to cool off in and even a waterfall to clamber up next to (to another series of pools).
Homtini Cycle Trail: This mountain biking trail includes single-track sections, it is 19 km long and there is a 3km tough climb. There is scenic high forest, fynbos and plantations. There is a swimming spot just before a very tough climb that can take up to 40 min to crest.

Forest Edge is nestled against the ancient and magical Knysna Forest – your Adventure Hub. You are surrounded by giant 900-year old Yellow wood trees, beautiful forest ferns, cola-colored rock pools, ancient rock formations and tranquil waterfalls, while hearing the distinctive call of the magical Knysna Turaco and other bird – and wildlife.

The Self Catering Cottages feature 2 bedrooms, a living room, a victorian bath, secluded outdoor hot-water shower, a living room with fireplace and television with DVD player and fully equipped kitchen, a private patio with a braai and our popular hammocks.
And if you feel like taking the morning off, then we also offer Breakfast on our newly built picturesque Lily Pond Deck.
