THE DRIFT KNYSNA NEAR FOREST EDGE - VIRTUAL PHOTO TOUR
The Drift - about 15min drive from Forest Edge is a beautiful spot on the Knysna River, locally known as The Drift. With a sandy beach and shallow entry into the wide, attractive river,
this is the ideal spot for a secluded family outing or romantic picnic with a cooling frolic in the brackish water. Whether for swimming, canoeing, fishing or just shooting the breeze,
The Drift is sure to surprise you with Knysna Loeries flying over, fish jumping and sometimes even more wildlife surprises! Since it is tucked away behind a hill, it is also more windstill here.
Currently accessable from the Phantom Pass road, it is open to the public but only until 6pm and no camping allowed.
