FOREST EDGE PAYMENT OPTIONS AND BANK DETAILS

Forest Edge payment methods offered: Electronic transfer (i.e. Internet Payment / cellphone banking / bank transfer), cash deposits at a branch / personal credit card payment.

Electronic transfers / EFT are preferred as they are the most cost-effective for all parties. We do not want to pass on branch deposit fees onto our guests!

*** Very costly. We only credit you with funds received, so deposit a surplus of about R180 to reach the deposit amount. Try  credit card payment  instead or if you have any friends or family in South Africa, ask them to do an internet payment on your behalf. Any credit card payment will only be accepted upon receipt of a signed charge-back waiver and a copy of your credit card (front and back).

Once paid, please forward us forward proof of payment, so that we can confirm.

FOREST EDGE PAYMENT POLICY

The payment policy Forest Edge applies when it comes to payment of bookings:
  • We will only confirm a booking upon receipt and any clearance of the required deposit (i.e. we do not "keep" bookings). Please see our terms & conditions regarding deposit payments.
  • We do not accept cheques or credit cards on site; credit card payment can only be made online via Mosnterpay prior to arrival.
  • We encourage payment via electronic transfer as it helps us to keep our tarriffs lower (branch deposits incur unreasonable banking fees for us).
  • We do not accept cheque deposits and you may lose your booking should another party pay in cash/internet transfer before your cheque has cleared.
  • We will not refund any deposits made in error until it has been fully cleared.
  • We do not accept payments to pass on to any 3rd parties (e.g. cell / car rental etc).
  • In the highly unlikely event that 2 parties paid for the same dates at the same time (e.g. one via internet booking, another via e-mail), Forest Edge will credit the first payment cleared to confirm that booking, and will refund the other after full clearance.
The Forest Edge payment methods and policies are carefully designed to ensure fairness, to protect us from fraud and above all, to help us to keep our tarriffs reasonable to the benefit of our guests - we thank you for your understanding in adhering to them.
