Fieldmouse cottage was upgraded in May 2013 to be our new
LUXURY level cottage. It offers everything our standard cottages do, PLUS it offers
Full DSTV; high quality Queen-sized bed in the main bedroom; efficient cast-iron fireplace unit; and high quality finery.
It is the middle of the 5 cottages
(see
site map), kind of at the tip of the
V-formation with the other cottages slightly behind it, so it has a private
feel. It is also positioned close to the fence with
indigenous Sanparks forest,
often offering sightings of
forest wildlife and
forest birdlife from the veranda. This cottage
is very popular with honeymooners, bird-lovers or
nature-loving families
(it has a rear view onto the
jungle gym and bonfire area and a large garden area). Although all cottages have a fireplace,
Fieldmouse is the only cottage with an attractive and high efficiency heat output cast-iron fireplace unit in the lounge.
The cottages are all identical in terms of
floorplan / layout and
facilities, and all offer the same standard facilities; plus extras where specifically indicated on the
cottage facility page.

Gardens change; linen etc gets changed, so this is meant to be representative. Guest photos are acknowledged in the hover-over.

we only have one luxury cottage, so if this is what you paid for this is what you will get (unless a real Act-of-God happens!).
*** Although you will get the Luxury Cottage if this is what you paid for; we may be forced to shift guests in a serious Act-of-God kind of event outside of
our control in which case we would obviously negotiate a new rate if you agree to be moved to another cottage.
